If you are a motorist,
- Respect all other road users,
- Obey the traffic lights, and
- Keep within the speed limits on the roads.
- Don’t be in a hurry, it is better to arrive late and arrive alive.
If you are a pedestrian,
- Try and use pedestrian bridges where they are provided,
- Cross at the zebra crossing, and remember to look right, look left and look right again before crossing the road.
- Be on the lookout for bodabodas.
- Avoid using ear/headphones when walking.
- Always be aware of your surroundings.
If you are a bodaboda rider,
- Respect traffic rules and traffic lights
- Always wear a helmet, reflective clothing and proper footwear
- Carry one passenger at a time
- Wear cycling gloves to protect your hands
- Do not drink and ride a motorbike
If you are a bodaboda passenger, always insist on wearing a safety helmet and reflective clothing.
